re: baptism and private school

You guys have given me soooooooo much to think about. Every time I read a comment I’m all, “oh yeah, what about THAT?” I wish I had time to respond to everyone individually, but know that your ideas and messages are being used.

For example, I asked Jacket’s mom for a favorite song or music for the baptism (her response was literally “the green monster song” she must be thinking of Jacket?). I’m including her mom in everything from what color dress she wants Jacket to wear (she doesn’t care), to the size of the invite list and the wording of the invitation.

Regarding private school, well, you all have given me some serious homework! It’s so overwhelming but the most important part is that I’ve talked to the detective and Jacket’s mom and they are both completely on board for sending their kids to a “fancy” school together if I can make it happen. These conversations have also resulted in Jacket’s mom being on board for sending her to preschool (pre-K) next year. A far cry from just two months ago.
