  • Me: Do you mean like when we went to the zoo and the beach and stuff like that?

  • Who's the Super (aka superintendent)?

  • The Super. Jacket keeps saying that she wants to play with the Super. Who's that man?
  • Jacket was never alone with any men. She was with me, Ara, Elia's friend and the detective's daughter.
  • What about your Super?
  • I don't even know who my Super is. She was never alone with any men.
  • She said she wants to play bubble gum with the Super.
  • You know, she could be talking about anything. Not everything she says makes sense yet.

  • I don't know. It could be anybody.
  • We were looking at apartments today and Jacket told the Super she wanted to play with him. He's an adult! Where did she learn that? What child wants to play with an adult?
  • [trying to be light about it] Has Jacket ever met anyone she didn't want to play with?
  • But he's an adult man, that's not right.
  • And that's why you don't leave her alone yet.
  • She wants to play bubble gum with him. Why is that?
  • Was he friendly? You can teach her about not going anywhere with strangers.
