Status Update #493

I called her back.  I liked everyone’s “go and stay for the meeting” response and I planned to try it out.  That way Jacket’s mom could hear what I say to ACS, which I think is good.  I have positive things to say (Jacket was healthy and unharmed when I picked her up)- the drama with the police speaks for itself and it is something they can figure out- who knows the real story.

Normally I would wait much longer before I returned her call, but I was just as eager to figure out the plan for the day.  Not sure why I thought that would be possible.  Long story short, I tried to pin her down to a time that ACS was coming and she changed her story from tonight, to tomorrow, to- “forget it and let Jacket enjoy her day with Harriet tomorrow cause ACS knows she’s with you.”

Cool.  I told her I would be in a meeting for the reeeeeeeeeeeeeesssst of the day and I would not be able to answer my phone.  She said no problem.

So that’s solved.

And for those of you still reading this blog- you amaze me.

Elia, dinner’s back on!  But expect frozen pizza… :)
