I’ve hired a mobile notary to come by my place about an hour after Jacket’s mom plans to be here with the hopes that she’ll sign one of these in the event she needs me to take Jacket again. It’s a great form and ACS is totally on board.

It could go very smooth or very badly. I briefed the Notary lady about how unstable Jacket’s mom’s mood is and that if she flipped out I’d of course still pay her and we’d just cancel. Thank god I live in Bedstuy as Notary Lady didn’t flinch at the prospective scene.
