Conflicted
I just woke-up listened to the voicemail messages from Jacket’s mom and fucking hell, she had Jacket leave a message in which she’s coaching her in the background. “Rebecca, I was upset because I wanted to go to the movies.” Jacket is purely a pawn at this point and it’s disgusting me.
Text messages (grammar/spelling corrected):
“We’re not moving, I’m going to try to move closer to you.”
“We will see you on Sunday, ok, at 10.”
“ACS knows that I am moving and Jacket stopped crying. She wants to go home, I have a home in Florida.”
“My daughter is in a stable and safe environment. She was only crying because she wanted to go to the movies.” (actually, she was specifically saying she didn’t want to go)
“And we are coming Sunday. I am busy a lot. Jacket goes to school now.”
“Do you still want us to come or no?”
“Would you like us to still come over? I have Jacket’s cousin, too.”
“You know we will always keep in touch.”
“Do you want us there tomorrow still?”

What are you conflicted about? J’s mom didn’t apologize and is still acting as irrationally as she did friday night. her life is still not stable, period. unless there’s something to report to ACS, keep ignoring.

I know it’s horrible to say, but I think Jacket would be better off without her mum. At this rate she’s going to have serious issues by the time she’s grown up.
