“The Worker”

At first I found it so tacky that foster parents, birth parents and even other agency staff called case workers, social workers and any foster care agency or governmental staff person “the worker”. But alas, I find myself saying and blogging it all the time. Everyone’s titles and credentials are so unclear that “the worker” has become the rain bucket term.
